HOW TO LOGIN?

If you already have an account, we’ll recognise you. Just log in with your Apple / Facebook / Google ID / Huawei ID.

ARE MY EMAIL AND NAME VISIBLE TO OTHER PURE MEMBERS?

No, there’s no need to worry! Apple doesn't even share your email with us, and your name is the best-kept secret. On Pure, your private information stays private, and users will only see your ad. We go the extra mile by generating random nicknames in chats to make it easier to distinguish who you're talking to without revealing anyone's identity.

EVERYTHING STARTS WITH PERSONAL ADS

For others to see you, and for you to see them, you need to post an ad. To avoid getting lost in the stream, you need to put a little effort to get noticed first. After posting your ad, you will enjoy receiving likes, opening chats, and meeting new people.

Here are a few of our best practices: 

  • Your ad can be anything, but in our experience, captivating, fun, and catchy texts work better.
  • Don’t limit yourself to just “hello”👋 or a cherry emoji🍒, Pure is made for shameless dating. Speak openly about yourself and your desires, in our space, no one will judge you.
  • Make jokes! Humour and irony fuel imagination and make you shine. A sense of humour is one of the sexiest qualities you can have!
  • Suggest a specific activity for the first date. This will make it easier to find that special someone you’ll vibe with. Being open about your desires is great, but we find that, often, the key is in the details. Try describing your idea of the date and how it might end. Maybe watching the sunset on a rooftop, going to a movie theatre, or having cocktails at the bar. Being clear about what you want increases the chances of making your fantasies come true.
  • Oh, and no one likes a numbers game. Including your measurements is overrated, and advertising your digits is a no-go.Your age and height can be set up in the profile settings, but other details can wait.
WHAT PHOTOS SHOULD I USE? 

You can attach up to three photos to your ad. Pictures are not necessary, but adding them will greatly speed up the process. Requirements for photos are minimal. It’s important that your photos are yours. These can be images without a face but genuine ones, as posting fake images from the internet or using photos impersonating someone else can lead to a ban from the Pure app.

Nudes in ads are prohibited. We also do not allow photos of drugs, weapons, or anything illegal. As part of the fight against fake profiles, we also do not allow texts on photos and filters that completely change your appearance.

CAN'T UPLOAD A PHOTO FROM YOUR PHONE GALLERY?

Photos always increase your chances of meeting, playing and misbehaving faster. If you are having issues uploading or sending a photo, most likely you just need to allow Pure access to your gallery. 

It's simple: 

  • Open your phone settings.
  • Then choose Pure from the list of apps and allow access to all of your photos. 

This should take care of the issue.

TURN-ONS

Turn-ons increase your chances to match with the very right person, who will share the same desires as you do. Whether your thing is kissing, massage or music, it’s always nice when someone picks up what you’re putting down. This feature just makes it that bit easier. There are different depths of desire and the Pure app covers all bases. You can add or remove a turn-on by tapping on it. The turn-ons you select will be visible to everyone who views your profile.

Hot tip. Additional function: you can use “Turn-Ons” as an icebreaker when you start chatting with someone

LOOKING FOR

Turn-ons may be fun, but having matching dating goals is equally important. Be sure to specify what you're looking for in your profile. You can choose one of five options. You can change the goal you select at any time — listen to your needs, things change! To adjust the Feed more precisely, use filters.

PROFILE PAGE SET UP

To get to your profile and edit it, click on the mask icon at the bottom of the screen, then click on the pencil to edit the information.

In your profile page you can:

  • Pick or update your sexuality.
  • Add age (you have to be over 18) and height.
  • Add which languages you speak.
  • And whether you belong to a couple or not.

These aren’t required, but they’re nice to have as it’ll improve our matching and help you navigate the Feed more specifically.

HOW DOES THE AD FEED WORK?

To see ads from other Pure members, you need to publish your own ad first. You will do so in your Profile. As soon as you post it — the Feed will appear. Your Feed is based on your preferences and location. You can customise everything by using filters. The more accurate the filters are, the greater chances you’ll find exactly whom you’re looking for! Many important things are displayed in the ad: city, gender, sexuality, age, height, and the number of Turn-ons. You can also see how long someone's been on Pure: if someone is a newbie — we will show the "New" icon, and if someone's been here quite a while — they'll get the "Pure guru" title! 

We show ads according to the filters you have set. Then, with the warning, "Your filters resulted in a limited number of people, but we have selected those who might interest you," we'll show you other ads that our algorithms have curated exclusively for you.

HOW CAN I SEE ADS FROM OTHER LOCATIONS?

By using the feed filter settings, you can display and like ads from any city of your choice. On Pure, all borders are open, and your like will be delivered as quickly as possible, no matter what the distance is!

HOW TO REMOVE THE BLUR FROM THE PHOTOS?

Photos that the Pure system considers provocative are hidden behind a blur. To view an unblurred image, simply tap on it and select "Show." If you'd prefer to see photos without any blurring, go to the Pure settings, choose "Sensitive content," and then click "I want to see."

HOW DO I CHANGE THE DISTANCE IN THE FEED FROM KILOMETRES TO MILES AND HEIGHT FROM CENTIMETRES TO FEET?

Go to the settings screen inside the app, find the Metrics section, and tap on “km, cm” or “mi, ft”.

HOW DO I HIDE SOMEONE'S AD FROM MY FEED?

Sometimes, we all just wanna unsee things. By clicking on the menu, you will see the following options:

  • Block — the person will disappear from your Pure feed forever.
  • Report — if you think that the ad violates our guidelines, feel free to report it. We'll figure it out!
WILL MY AD ALWAYS BE VISIBLE IN THE FEED?

If you want to hide your ad from the feed, press the "Hide" button in the Profile Ad section. If you hide your ad and enable incognito mode, only people you like will be aware of your presence. Learn more about incognito here.

WHAT DOES MY AD LOOK LIKE?

You can see how others see your ad in the Feed. To see it, select "Profile Preview in the Feed" from the profile editing menu. You’ll find it after clicking the mask icon at the bottom of the screen.

WHY WAS MY AD DELETED?

Remember, we don’t allow anyone in the Pure community to post ads that contain nudity, sale, or mentions of drugs, hateful and abusive statements, bullying, threats to other members of Pure, or anything that goes against our Community Guidelines. Also, it’s not allowed to mention any contacts and social media handles in your ad.

If our moderators or community members report this kind of behaviour, your ad will be deleted. This means that no one will see you in the Feed and you will not be able to see other people's ads. As soon as you change your photo and text so that your ad is in compliance with our guidelines, you will be able to use the app again.

ALL ABOUT CHATS: FROM 🖤 TO “VIDEO CHATS”

On Pure, you can be as casual as you like — chatting about exciting, sexy topics is the norm with us. 

When you see someone you like — click on Like, and if there’s a match, we will create a chat for both of you.

We encourage you to seize the moment when using Pure — after 24 hours, your chats will expire, along with anything you've shared and written. But if you and your match want to continue to get to know each other, you can agree to turn off the timer and continue chatting without any time limit.

Here’s how to use our chats to full advantage:

  • Send photos. But first, read about safety.
  • Send videos. At the moment, you can only send videos stored in your phone. But soon, you will be able to record videos directly in the Pure app. If the video takes too much space, Pure will offer you to switch to a video call instead.
  • Send stickers. Click the peach icon in the text bar, and browse for stickers.
  • Send and receive voice messages. Sometimes, it’s better to hear than to see a thousand times.
  • Have video calls. You can communicate face-to-face (or from any other angle) directly from the chat.
  • Share your location, if you're planning to meet.

We keep you safe by:

  • Firstly, in Pure, your private information stays private.
  • Photos, videos and chats cannot be copied, saved or screenshotted. You will receive a notification that the chat-partner tried to make a screenshot. We still encourage you to keep your identity safe until you trust your chat-partner (screenshots can be taken via a second device for example).
  • If you send a self-destructing photo or video, it will disappear after viewing, and it is also impossible to save and screen it.
  • Individual messages, photos, voice messages, and chats can be easily deleted at any time. Just select "Clear history" in the chat menu and enjoy a fresh start - everything will disappear from your match’s chat history, too.
  • Done talking? We will delete all chats when you leave the chat. When you block a profile or submit a report, all chats are instantly destroyed.

Once the chat history was deleted, we can’t restore it for you or return a chat-partner back.

LIKES

All likes are live for 24 hours after you open the app or post an ad.

When someone likes you, you will find out about it in the second tab on the left, above the chats. The newest reactions are always at the top.

VIDEO AND AUDIO CHATS

Invite your match to have a video chat before meeting in real life, but don’t forget to keep your identity safe until you trust your chat-partner. It’s the best way to save time, and protect yourself from scammers and catfishes. 

Feeling shy? You can turn off the camera in a chat and continue talking with just your voice.

DEVIL’S BONES: LET FATE DECIDE TODAY!

Everything starts with audio — and ends with action.

Roll the dice and trust your fate on Pure. Our game drops you into an exciting conversation with a randomly selected person. Talking via unique avatars and matching based on geolocation, gender, and preferences — honest connection has never been more intriguing, and most importantly, spontaneous!

How it works:

  • To enter Devil’s Bones you must first add the languages you speak - the game won’t start until you do.
  • Once it’s done, tap on the dice icon in the navigation menu or on the banner in your feed.
  • As soon as a match is found for you, you’ll see a countdown screen and hear a sound. Now, get ready to talk!
  • Your match might be someone from your city or country, but it’s possible that you get connected with someone from a different continent — no borders on Pure!
  • The chat starts with audio, but you can always switch to a video chat during the conversation — that’s entirely up to you and your chat-partner, but don’t forget about safety.
  • Want to go full-screen mode? Just tap on the chat-partner. Want to go back? Tap again!
  • Found someone you like? Upon mutual agreement, you can save the chat and continue your communication without limits.

If you’ve got nothing in common with your match, don’t worry — you can always move on to the next one by rolling the dice again.

Hot tip: to send a request to save a chat, you need chips — buy them in the app settings or in the actual chat.

And a few more important bits:

  • While you’re waiting to get matched, you can minimise the game and continue browsing the app — the minimised window can be moved so as not to overlap the content you’re seeing.
  • You can adjust filters both at the matching screen (while the game is looking for your next match) or while you’re already in the chat.
  • Pure doesn’t tolerate bad behaviour: you can block or report your match if they deserve it. In case they violated Pure guidelines, they will be banned from playing Devil’s Bones.

HAVING TROUBLE WITH DEVIL’S BONES OR VIDEO CHATS?

Video chats on Pure take communication to a whole new level — more open, honest, and fun. So it's frustrating when things don't work as they should. If you're experiencing issues with any of the features, let's sort it out together. The most common problem is Pure not having access to your camera and microphone — and we can't do much without those!

On Android devices:

INCOGNITO MODE

Switch on Incognito mode to browse in secret. Your online presence is hidden, so no one will see when you're online, and they will only know if you've read their messages once you reply.

How to use incognito mode:

  • Once you put on your incognito hat, you have 24 hours of secret browsing that you can turn ON and OFF whenever you wish. Don't forget! The timer is ticking, even if you decide to turn it OFF during the 24 hours. 
  • To see how much time is remaining, go to the app settings and see the ticking timer under the ”Purchases” section. You can also see the remaining time on the notification we send you every time you turn it on or off. We will also notify you when it is over.
  • Use the switch in the chats to turn incognito mode ON or OFF, or manage it in the “Purchases” section of the app settings.
  • After turning OFF incognito mode, your chat-partners will know if you have read their messages even if you did so during incognito mode.
  • Simply hide your ad and enable incognito mode, and only those you’ve liked will see you.

MANAGING NOTIFICATIONS

It is completely up to you whether you want to receive notifications from Pure or not. To set up notifications, go to Pure’s Settings and click on "notifications''. You can also turn notifications on or off using your phone settings.

Android:
In settings.

  • Tap Apps & Notifications > "Notifications". 
  • Turn on or off the "Show notifications" option.
    You’ll find more information in the article here.

iOS:
To manage notifications from the lock screen or Action Center.

  • Swipe left on a notification or a notification grouping.
  • Click "Manage" and choose one of the following options:
    • Deliver silently: Notifications will appear in the Action Center but not on the lock screen. They will come without sound, and no banners or icons will be displayed. 
    • Disable: This option turns off all notifications for Pure. To turn them back on, go to Settings> Notifications, select an app, and click Allow Notifications.

HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF PURE?
SEND GIFTS

On Pure, you’re able to send someone you really like a virtual gift. It could be a heart, a pineapple, or a cocktail. Whatever you’d like to open with. These gifts will make you stand out – especially if you get creative and add a bold note, record audio, or add a fun image (no nudes unless you’ve received consent, though!). 

We will deliver your gift promptly and let your recipient know it’s there. And once they’ve accepted and opened it, we’ll create a chat for you to talk things further!

BECOME KING OF THE HILL (ONLY FOR MEN)

Turn everyone’s attention to you with the "King of the Hill" feature. You can think of it as a weapon of mass admiration — you’ll receive more likes, engage in more chats and get more dates. It will be impossible to miss your ad, as we'll pin it at the top of the feed for a whole hour or until someone else throws you off the hill. 

Keep in mind that there are plenty of people who’d want to become King, so do your best to keep the title. The longer you are at the top, the more attention everyone will give you.

PURE QUEEN

Ladies only! Pure Queen is a premium subscription that unlocks access to additional features:

  • Incognito mode. Browse the app unseen and chat while appearing offline. You will get free incognito hats every week, but keep in mind: unused hats will disappear within 7 days. If you run out of hats, you can always buy more — the ones you’ve purchased will stay on your balance until you use them. Read more about the Incognito mode here.
  • Smart likes. Flooded with likes? Choose those who you want to receive them from. If your taste changes, adjust your preferences!
  • Filter all likes. Set your filters and pick top matches.
  • Blocklist. Unblock members who deserve a second chance. Manage your Blocklist in the app settings on the “General” tab.
  • Queen style. Let everyone see who is the Queen here! Unique avatars and Queen design of your ad will help you stand out among others in the Feed. You can turn off the Queen style on the Edit profile screen at any time.

DARK MODE

You can enjoy Pure in Light or Dark Mode. You can configure your preferences in the App settings. Pure also supports Auto Mode — where either Light or Dark Mode will be selected automatically, depending on your phone preferences.

Dark Mode is not supported on iOS 12 or below. It will only be possible to use Pure in the default Light Mode. 

For Android devices with operating system version 9 and below, the Auto option is not supported.

SAFETY AND PRIVACY

Safety is one of our key values. We would like your experience on Pure to be extremely positive, so below, we will tell you about the safety measures already implemented and what you can do to make your time here as easy and safe as possible.

ALBUM

This is your private album. You can take selfies and save them at any time, then share them later with your chat-partners whenever you like. If you want to delete a photo from your album, open the photo you want to delete and click “Delete” in the lower right-hand corner.

All photos stored in your Pure album are only visible to you. Here you can upload photos from your phone gallery or take photos within the app itself using our camera. Any photos taken within the app will be marked as "true photos". It's necessary so that no one doubts that it's you in the picture.

HOW TO SEND SELF-DESTRUCTING PHOTOS & VIDEOS?

If you see a white 🔥 icon with the text “SELF-DESTRUCT ON” when sending a photo or a video, rest assured that it will be destroyed after your chat-partner opens it. This will keep you safe from possible blackmail. If you want to leave a photo or a video in the chat, all you need to do is disable self-destruct mode by tapping on the “fire” icon — it will become transparent.

HOW DO I REQUEST A TRUE PHOTO?

With true photos, you can easily verify your match or yourself. Click on the three dots in the chat to request a true photo. Or take a photo through the app to respond to the request. If you see the photo with a caption and a check mark, you’ll know it’s authentic.

IN-CHAT SCAM NOTIFICATIONS

If your chat-partner uses a trigger word that scammers often use in the chat, our system automatically sends you an alert. This does not necessarily mean that your chat-partner is a scammer, but we advise you to think twice about the personal information that you’re planning to share with this person. Avoid switching to any external messengers — chat on Pure. As long as you remain on Pure, we can assure you that our safety measures will keep your chats safe.

HOW TO REPORT AND BLOCK OTHER PURE MEMBERS

To make Pure better and safer, we need your support. If you see any sort of suspicious behaviour, send us a report. These reports help us to create a healthy online community. Make sure to check out our Safety and Privacy section. 

You can send us reports directly from chats to notify us of any issues with specific ads. Please only send us reports if someone's ad or behaviour goes directly against our Community Guidelines.

Click on the menu icon (with three dots) inside the chat or in the ad feed, select "Report" and choose the reason for the report.

WHY WAS I BANNED?

We are creating a safe space for communication, and we will only block Pure members for good reason. If you have been banned, please read our Community Guidelines to learn more. For any of the concerns mentioned below, we will ban members permanently:

  • Underage.
  • Abusive behaviour or unsolicited nudes.
  • Scams.
  • Sale or mentions of drugs.

If you think you have been banned unfairly, please write to us at [email protected], we will take a look into your request.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS FROZEN?

We will temporarily freeze your account for any suspicious behaviour, and our moderation team will review your account manually. If everything seems fine, we will get you back on the app within the next 24 hours, and all your chats will be restored (unless your chat-partner left the chat).

HOW DO I DELETE MY ACCOUNT?

We are sorry to see you go, but we understand that sometimes things don’t work out. To delete your account, open “Settings”, tap on “My Account/ID” and select “Delete account” at the bottom of the screen.

Here’s a tip: Instead of removing your account, you can hide yourself from the Feed by pressing the “Hide” button in the Ad settings. You can return whenever you’re ready. When you delete your account, you permanently lose all chats, photos, and history associated with your account.

SUBSCRIPTION SETTINGS AND OTHER PAID FEATURES
PAYMENT METHODS

Depending on your device, you can pay for the subscription through your Apple/Google/Huawei account or with a credit card.

I CAN’T MAKE A PAYMENT. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Make sure that you have enough funds on your card and check if you have any blocks or restrictions on transactions. Try another card or top up your iTunes/ Google Play /Huawei account. If nothing helps, write to us at [email protected]

CAN I USE ONE SUBSCRIPTION ON SEVERAL DEVICES?

Sure! If you deleted the application on one device and downloaded it on another, you don’t need to pay for your subscription again. Just use your Apple/Google/Huawei account to register, it is important that you use the same email that is used in each of the services, and Pure will automatically grant you an access (if the previously activated subscription in iTunes/Google Play/AppGallery  or the web version is still valid). 

You can’t create different accounts with the same subscription. You can’t share your subscription with your friends.

HOW TO CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION?

General information

Remember to cancel your Subscription at least 24 hours before the expiration.

If you want to cancel your subscription, open Pure Settings, then Purchases, tap “Manage subscription”, you will see the date of the next billing and the button “Cancel subscription”. After choosing the reason for cancellation, you should confirm your decision.

How to cancel your subscription on Google Play

  • Open the app page in “Google Play”.
  • Click on the profile in the top right corner.
  • Click on the “Menu” icon, and then click “Subscriptions”.
  • Find the subscription you need and click "Unsubscribe".

How to cancel your subscription on iOS

  • Open “Settings”.
  • Tap your APPLE id on the top of the screen.
  • Tap “Subscriptions.”
  • Tap the subscription that you want to manage and tap “Cancel Subscription”.

How to cancel your AppGallery subscription

There are 2 ways to cancel your subscription:

Option 1:

  • Open Settings.
  • Click on the profile picture at the top of the screen.
  • Go to the "Account Management" section, then click "Payments and purchases", then click on "Subscriptions/Password-free payments".
  • Select the desired app and click the unsubscribe button.

Option 2:

  • Open the "AppGallery".
  • Go to the "Me" section.
  • Click on the profile picture at the top of the screen.
  • Go to the "Payments and purchases" section, then "Subscriptions/Password-free payments".
  • Select the desired application and click the unsubscribe button.

 How to cancel your subscription on WEB

  • Go to “Settings” in the upper right corner of the page (next to your profile photo).
  • Then click “Subscription” at the top left-hand side of the page.
  • Cancel the subscription by following the on-screen instructions.
  • Upon successful cancellation of your subscription auto-renewal, you will see the text "Automatic renewal is turned off."
HOW DO I CHANGE MY SUBSCRIPTION PLAN?

General information

If you want to upgrade your subscription (aka change the subscription plan), open Pure Settings, then Purchases, tap on “Manage subscription”, where you will see the button to choose another option.

On iOS:
New subscription will start immediately, and you will receive a refund for the previously unused period.

On Google Play / AppGallery/ WEB: 
New plan will start when your current subscription expires. 
 

Managing a subscription plan in your device settings

On Google Play:
Cancel the auto-renewal of the current subscription in the Google Play settings. At the end of the paid subscription period, when you try to publish your ad, you will see several options, choose the one that suits you best.

On iOS:

  • Open the “Settings” app.
  • Click your Apple ID at the top of the screen, then find “Subscriptions” and open, by clicking on it.
  • Select the subscription you want to change.
  • If there are multiple types of subscriptions, select the one you need from the list.
  • Click “Purchase”.

On AppGallery

  • Open the  "AppGallery" app.
  • Go to the "Me" section.
  • Click on the profile picture at the top of the screen.
  • Go to the "Payments and purchases" section, then "Subscriptions/Password-free payments".
  • Choose the name of the subscription you want to change.
  • If different types of subscriptions are available, a list will appear. Choose the right option.
  • Click "Buy".
  • The new subscription will take effect after the expiration of the current subscription.

On WEB:
Go to Settings in the upper right corner of the page (next to your profile photo) and select "Subscription" in the upper left hand of the page, cancel auto-renewal of your subscription. At the end of the paid period, when you will try to publish your ad, you will see several subscription options, choose the one that suits you best.

HOW DO REFUNDS WORK?

By registering for the application, you agreed to the Terms and Conditions. We cannot refund money for an activated subscription or items (gifts, etc.) that you have used. If any technical errors have occurred, write to us at [email protected]. We will check everything and try to help.

HOW TO REPORT TECHNICAL ISSUES?

We will need the following information:

  • Indicate the platform on which you encountered the problem (iOS/Android/Web) and your Pure ID.
  • Android and iOS -> Go to “Settings”, then find “My account / ID”
  • Copy your PURE ID by clicking on the icon next to it and send it to us (your e-mail address would be useful, too)
  • Web -> Go to the “Account” and send us an e-mail from the address indicated under the line “Your account” or a screenshot of this screen.
  • Describe the problem. Tell us about the actions that led to the problem, step-by-step, taking into account all important details.
  • Indicate the exact time the problem occurred — up to the minute, if possible.

Other things that might be helpful:

  • If you are using Pure on iOS or Web, send screenshots or videos of the problem.
  • If you are using Pure on Android, send logs. Go to the “Settings” screen inside the application, tap on the e-mail at the bottom and hold it for a few seconds until you see the option to send logs via email.

If the problem concerns paying for a subscription or in-app purchases, be sure to send us a receipt from the billing operator:

  • for iOS, Apple.
  • for Android, Google Play, or Huawei AppGallery.
  • for Web, Cardpay.

Please note that we need the receipt specifically from the billing operator, not from your bank.
